XPLOR scuba withhold the right to terminate all training if any HSE, RAID, PADI or XPLOR standards are deviated. Any student training canceled within 24 hours prior to the session commencing, will incur additional fees. For a canceled pool session will be charged at £8. A canceled theory session will be £6.50. A canceled open water session will be £32.
All school equipment is checked by staff & student/customer prior to hiring and also on return. Any faulty equipment should be notified immediately. On return any faulty equipment will be charged. Students take priority over school equipment.
All weekend trips or holidays are subject to a £150 deposit. This deposit confirms your place on the trip. If you book onto a trip it is your responsibility to check all dates, equipment needs, certification requirements. All deposits are non- refundable. Once your place is confirmed, if you are unable to attend its is your responsibility to fill that position and cover any fees incurred due to changing of personnel. If the position can not be filled you will be liable to pay the trip in full.
Courses under £100 are required to be paid in full at time of booking. Courses over £100 require an £80 deposit, at time of booking. Outstanding balances will be structured throughout the course. All course fee are to be paid in full prior to final training session. XPLOR scuba will retain any certification until all course fees have been paid in full. All ongoing training is only valid for 12 months for your initial course start date.
The course instructors discretion is final. If the instructor decides the student/instructor ratios impede safety, these will be reduced accordingly. The instructor holds the right to cancel any open-water, at any given time, due to safety. (all though unnecessary the instructor will provide a valued reason for the cancelation).
Membership is charged on a monthly basis which is to be set up as a standing order. The membership includes unlimited pool time, 3 cylinder refills per month, up to 12 litres cylinders (twinsets will incur charges). 5% discount of all courses unless the course is already discounted through a promotion. 3% of all retail equipment. Members can hire school equipment when available. This equipment is subject to rental fees.
All diving professionals working as part of XPLOR scuba are covered with a HSE medical and a public liability policy. All pros are to abide by all standards. Deviating from any standard will result in suspension/dismissal. Benefits of being part of the Xplor team include free dive site entry per training day, discounted membership rates, 7% of all courses, 5% of all retail equipment.
All course and trip deposits are non-refundable. If goods are faulty, we offer a repair, replacement, partial or full refund, depending on the age and circumstances of the defected product. All refunds will be in store credit notes with a 6 month expiry of date of sale.
